Hi! My name is Amelia. I’m 20 years old and I’m from Gdańsk, Poland. If you had asked me a few years ago where I’d see myself at twenty, I would’ve told you I’d be studying veterinary medicine. I’ve always loved animals more than anything. My biggest dream was to open a small rescue center where abandoned dogs and cats could finally have a safe home.

You’ll always spot something space-related in my room—a star map, a telescope, glowing constellations, or my notebook filled with little dreams and places I want to visit one day. Every time someone supports me, I write another dream inside it. Maybe one day I’ll read them all again and realize they finally came true.

I lost my parents when i was younger, I learned what it feels like to grow up too fast. I started working almost immediately after finishing school. My first job was cleaning hotel rooms. It wasn’t glamorous, but it paid the bills… barely. Some months I had to choose between buying groceries or paying for electricity. Watching other people enjoy vacations while I rushed to make their beds was heartbreaking sometimes. I realized that if I kept living like that, my dreams would stay dreams forever. I didn’t want to spend my entire life wondering “what if?” So I took a chance and ended up here. It wasn’t the path I imagined, but it’s helping me build a future instead of simply surviving.

When I’m not online, I’m a completely different person. I adore astronomy and can spend hours watching the stars. I collect vintage postcards from different countries, make handmade candles, learn Italian just for fun, and I absolutely love rainy evenings with documentaries about nature. I also bake cinnamon rolls whenever I’m stressed—they’re my little therapy.

A few winters ago, I found a freezing little puppy hiding under a broken bus stop during a snowstorm. I couldn’t leave him there, even though I barely had enough money for myself. We shared my dinner that night. He stayed with me for almost two years before an amazing family adopted him. Seeing him happy in his new home made me cry more than I’d like to admit.
